Andrew Paul Binder

Mr. Binder began his career in New York under designer Larry Laslo at Bergdorf-Goodman. Andrew went to Los Angeles working first for Aldo Gucci at Gucci on Rodeo Drive and then for Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills in interior design and celebrity personal shopping. Soon he took on freelance assignments on the newly chic Melrose Avenue.

Andrew applied his design ability, his own designed art pieces and his creative styling talents to the amazing number of private celebrity clients. Andrew's talents have taken him around the country doing fashion, prop and product styling that included magazine covers, c.d. covers, catalogs and production design for music videos, television and commercials. For print he was formerly represented by The Cloutier and Celestine Agenices. Mr. Binder now lives and freelances in New York City.

In 1993 and 1994, Andrew Art Directed and designed the openings of Monday Night Football(with Aerodrome Pictures), N.B.C. "Masters of Illusions" (with GRB Entertainment), Times-Warner "EXTRA" (with Aerodrome Pictures), and E! Entertainment Television's Post Emmy and Grammy Awards (with Jill Taffet / Andy Hahn). It was at this time that Andrew started working with celebrity chefs and party planners throughout the entertainment community in Los Angeles designing cooking shows, books and events.

In 1995, Andrew was the Production Designer for Turner Classic Movies "Inside the Dream Factory" with Faye Dunaway and won the 17th Annual Cable Ace Award. Other clients that year included: E! Entertainment Television (Andy Hahn / Karin Rainey), Paramount Pictures, N.B.C., C.B.S., A.B.C., and FOX Television.

From 1996-1999, Andrew landed memorable ad campaigns with his production skills of set design, lighting and costume for C.B.S. , N.B.C., E! Entertainment Television, Entertainment Weekly Magazine,Disney, and the Disney Channel. For Shell Oil, he built three 18 wheel Mad Max Version trucks, decorated rooms at the infamous Ambassador Hotel for singer Brandy's album cover, and put the cast of "Friends" in bed for their album cover. Ending the year with a Pepsi commercial featuring Coolio.

2000-2003 clients include: American Express, Sony, Clinique, Clairol, Hanes, NBC, Martha Stewart Living, Turner Classic Movies, U. P. N., and Paramount Pictures.

Screen Actors Guild member appearing in 75 episodes of "Just Shoot Me" for NBC and numerous television shows and films.
